Dr. Ward's statement that "not every person living with hepatitis C needs to be treated for hepatitis C, and it really has to be based on the progression of their disease and the timing of that therapy" in the context of the adverse events and costs of the new DAAs is sure be a topic of conversation both within the drug development industry and the HCV provider/patient community.
